Hemangbhai — apps, tools & websites

Careful software, built to be lived in.

I build small Android apps and hand-coded websites, mostly because I want the thing to exist. Same goal every time: fewer moving parts, faster pages, and interfaces nobody has to think about.

Selected work

Things I have built, and why.

Four apps on Google Play, five in development — open any of them for the whole story.

What I do

Four ways I tend to be useful.

Most projects start as one of these and quietly grow into two.

01

Hand-coded websites

Sites and small web apps built by hand: quick to load, keyboard-friendly, and simple enough that you can read the source. Nothing to maintain but the code itself.

02

Android apps

Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, offline-first by default, Material 3, and release tooling I am not afraid to run.

03

Front-end craft

Semantic HTML, modern CSS, accessible components. No framework tax on a five-page site, no div soup anywhere.

04

Automation & glue

APIs, scripts and small internal tools that quietly remove the repetitive parts of a working week.

Toolkit

What is on the desk.

Tools change; the habit of asking "what is the smallest thing that solves this?" does not.

About

Technology should feel quiet.

I am Hemangbhai. I build Android apps, small tools and hand-coded websites — usually because I want the thing to exist and nobody has made it yet. It all comes down to the same question: does this behave the way people expect, the first time?

The parts I care about are not glamorous. Load times. Empty states. Keyboard focus. Error messages that tell you what to do next. Copy that says what it means. That is usually what separates software you tolerate from software you recommend.

Have something that needs building properly?

Tell me what you are working on. If I am the right person for it, you will hear that quickly — and if I am not, I will say so.
