Where your data lives
Your customers stay on your phone.
PolicyPilot keeps two copies of your book: one in the app on your phone, and one in your own account. That is what makes a new phone painless — sign in and the customers, policies and renewals come back. The account is an email and a password created inside the app: no Google or Facebook login, and no subscription.
The account copy is the automatic safety net: a record is in it moments after you save it. On top of that the app writes a daily backup into its own storage and lets you export a file to wherever you choose — keep that file the way you keep your client paperwork, because it leaves the app unencrypted.
Your password is handled by Firebase Authentication and is never stored by the app. Customers, reminders and reports work with no connection — the app saves to the phone first and syncs quietly when the network returns.
